Honey Bee Ham & Deli: Discover Unforgettable Burgers and Deli Delights

Visiting from out of town and found this gem!! I am a foodie and this place is legit. First let me say that all those that gave it a 1-star are remedial. They make the food fresh so don’t show up right before closing time and expect to get food. They stay open until 8pm so if you want to stop by for ice cream, fresh baked cookies or after dinner treat they have it. Also, for their catering, don’t expect to get a pan of Mac and cheese that is fresh out of the oven. It can spoil so they have to freeze it. And for those that are used to eating fast food and overprocessed junk, of course you wouldn’t be used to eating fresh baked bread and fresh home-cooked ingredients so don’t waste your time coming in if you’re gonna expect to get McDonald’s quality. Now on to the food, it’s the best burger because of the fresh baked buns with a hint of sweet. Jalapeño bread is another option. Fresh lettuce, tomato and onions, ketchup is in an old school diner bottle so you can perfectly dispense the ketchup on your sandwich. Potato Salad is amazing, Mac n Cheese is very tasty and French fries have a nice seasoning. Blue bell ice cream…yes please Banana Pudding …double yes please Fresh Baked cookies Fresh Lemonade If I lived in Conroe, I would never go to any other burger place again

I have only had 3 bites of my burger and I had to stop to write this review.Not only is the burger good-hot,fresh,toasted jalapeño bun-but the owner and staff are so awesome! I would come back here because of them alone! This place is very clean and the prices are very very affordable for a family of four.I found a new favorite restaurant today

Excellent burger and onion rings. You can tell this place has been around for awhile by the quaint decor. Very friendly staff that make you feel at home. Burger has a lot of options for bread with even a jalapeño bun.

Came in after driving from Springfield, Missouri and wanted something local. Showed up less than an hour before closing and got GREAT service from the manager. House made ham, on fresh jalapeño cheddar rolls, with onion rings and banana pudding? Hit the spot. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the Conroe area.

It very much felt like a local burger joint. Very friendly, down to earth atmosphere. I can tell how they’ve been in business for over 30 years. I got the double burger basket with half and half fries and onion rings. For lack of better wording, that was a REALLY good burger. Definitely would come back to try more if I find myself passing through Conroe again.

Burgers were delicious! The owner Chris was very friendly and the food was served quickly. Only suggestion is updating the inside a bit, but it does add to its charm. We will definitely be back.

Omgosh it’s accurate.. the jalapeño sourdough bun stayed in tack the entire burger.. old fashioned 1/3 lb patties.. it’s an amazing burger and no doubt their other food is also back home good cooking! Glad i decided to try it.. I’ll be back and bringing friends it’s that braggadocio.
